Default Opinions on smoked/blackout tail lights?

How do you guys think these would look on my car? Could anyone do a photoshop?

here's a photoshopped pic; the covers might look darker in reality, though; but you can at least get an idea of what they'd look like

Thanks. I like how that looks, I thought it would be really strange without the red tails but it isnt bad.

just go to walmart and get 20% tint and tint them yourself, i did it about 2 years ago and it still looks great.

I would just do the tints but at least the covers can be removed/sold down the road

Was there something specific you didn't like about them or what? I'm just trying to get an idea of the best option for me and the removability seems to give them the edge over tints.

unless it was already implied, you could try using lens tint paint/spray. it's not too expensive and gives it a pretty good look. plus, unless the paint goes bad, you can use it more than once; the only real downside, though, it isn't really 'removable'

Yeah, the more I read the more I am finding that tint or paint are better options than the covers for a variety of reasons. I am probably gonna go for the tint as it could be removed if/when I sell the car. I have seen the pre cut tint from stangmods.com but it is the same price as the plastic covers. How hard/expensive would it be to just buy XX% tint and do it myself?
