Playing catch up here, I had posted a thread about ram air hoods but got nothing back yet. My question ,if yall can help is, do any of yall have functional ram air hood and if so do they add any power?

05Mustang, Mellowyellow and myself and a few others all have functional ram air hoods but sorry to say they don't add any power but they do help to get colder air to your CAI

Thanks for all of the help guys. You're cars look great! I'm thinking I'll be doing most of my exterior upgrades next spring. Now I'm off to get info on power adders!

Thanks for braking down the power thing. I was just wondering because one night some kid in his dads GT said I didn't stand a chance because he had a ram air hood and I didn't. OOOO and he thought his gears would save him to. NOPE!!!!!!!! Experience will beat inexperience every time and it did that night as well. Stupid young punk kid.

No problem, as a rule of thumb, any hood that will fit on a stock GT front end will fit on a GT500 front end. However, if you have a hood made for a GT500 front end your going to have issues with fit and the latch when trying to place it on to a stock GT front end.
