Hood Struts

Hi 2005GT,

We have hood struts available on our website at mdsdesignonline.com. I have them installed on my Mustang and they are great. We only sell what we've tried and tested on our OWN Mustangs. There are more products being add this coming week (Ground Force Springs, PX3 Oil additive, etc.), so check back regularly to see what's new.

I got mine from MRT they are great in that they are completely out of the way, they look good, they match my paint, and they raise the hood on their own. They are easy to install as well.

Yes, MRT are very good and easy to install using the existing holes, while being mounted far enough back to allow for working in the engine bay without interference. They are very smooth operating as well.

+1 on the MRTs!

Easy install and definitely out of the way. I completed my supercharger install with the hood installed and had plenty of side clearance with these struts.

I have the Redline Tuning brand. I love them. Some people have had problems with the MRT or CDC ones holding up aftermarket fiberglass hoods due to them being heavier. The Redline seem to be the strongest ones out. I've had them on my stock hood, my Cervini hood, and now my Techco hood and they've held great.

I have had the redline tuning ones as well on both my hoods and no issues...and these are fiberglass!....they IMO are the best but it is JMO;)
