which color hood scoop
 

hey guys getting ready to get a hood scoop but can't decide which color would look the best..



help me out guys... :)

You're going to hate my answer here, but I hate fake parts such as hood scoops or side scoops that aren't functional; too many Mustangs have them.

BUT, if you're insistent on installing a hood scoop I say match it to the paint and stripes. I voted for Mineral Gray because I believe that the color of your car, but I would add the matte black stripes on it. It would look very similar to the way the Shelby GT hood scoop looks.

Mineral w/stipes. Where are the stipes on your car from? You may be able to purchase them pre cut.

don't know stripes were on it when i bought a dealer.... but they didn't put them on..

www.baltimorestreetmods.com has all kinds of miscellaneous striped products, or try emailing them to see if they can help, they've done stuff like that before.

Definitely do color matched.

Personally, if I didn't already have a scoop I'd pay a couple hundred dollars more and get a shaker. The setups are what, around $600? By the time you buy a scoop, get it painted, etc, you will probably spend close to that.

throwing in my 2 cents ... id match the stripes / matte black =)
