help choose (temp) spoiler
hey guys .... i can't make up my mind so lets hear what your thoughts are. Basically I pulled the stock GT spoiler and I like it just might be a little too plain. Plus the holes (which are plugged and painted) is also bother me a little some day (at least year(s) from now) it'll be a ducktail spoiler but till then....
heres my poll ...
1) paint stock spoiler flat/semi black (ol' school look)
2) v6 spoiler
3) stay spoilerless with plugs till ducktail
so lets hear it.. Thanks!!!

I'd do more research on which ducktail you want first because some use and cover those factory holes (like Cervinis C500 wing) and others come up short (such as CDC's ducktail). You might end up wanting one that needs the holes covered anyway, is what i'm saying.

yea i been looking into the ducktail ones and i'd have to go with the ones that cover/use the holes. CDC is one is nice but i'm not so sure about that added part that covers the holes. Plus i sorta like having the 3rd brake light.
2 others i seen that cover the holes
street scene gen3

Which spoiler you'd use completely depends on which look you're going for. Opinions follow:
Personally, I love the look of a GT spoiler painted flat black; similar to the BOSS or trans-am style. Otherwise, the V6 spoiler looks nice on a stock S197- it flows with the body lines better. The GT500 rear spoiler is another fine choice, but rather large.
Something else to consider: look at the complete shape of your car (walk around it). For instance, installing a large rear spoiler while using the stock GT front bumper makes the car appear out of proportion. But then, add a front lip and it 'balances' out the exterior.
Remember, sometimes less is more. I voted for no rear spoiler.
