Third brake light lens gasket replacement
Hey everyone,
So, today I had my vinyl stripes removed as they were deteriorating before my eyes (3 yrs of harsh sun beating down on them). Anyways, whatever solvent was used to get the adhesive off must have loosened up the gasket material that is used to seal the third brake light lens to the trunk. So, big mess, I popped the lens out, and am cleaning the material off, but now I need to seal it back on... does anyone know what this sealant would be??
Thanks in advance!

The third brakelight uses a foam neoprene gasket.
It really does not need one as any water that enters
there just drains out of the weep holes in the bottom
edge of the trunk lid like the water that comes in thru
the trunk key hole opening. But if you must, the stealership
is a good source for Mustang replacement parts.
