well here it goes....using window tint to tint your lights is okay but its a pain in the booty to get it perfect plus, after some miles, you will start to see little nicks in the tint from bugs and rocks chipping away at it and the orange lens will show through, then you will have to tear off the tint, clean off all the adhesive, and redo them....a pain....if you want them done and have a perfect finish to them, just paint them....if you do paint them and use niteshade to do it, there is a history of that to start to peel....i have painted all of my own oem lights with professional grade clearcoat mixed with black for the tint...as for my corners, they are inted dark, but at anytime when i turn them on, the orange lgith will shine through with no problem day or night....all of mine have been painted for almost a year now and they are still perfect...just in case anyone is interested, i paint corner turns for $30 a pair...a couple of pics...
