Default 10 Mustang GT Cloth to Leather Seats!?!?

Hey guys, when I got my GT back in June I got the Deluxe coupe, I am thinking about doing leather in the car, If I get the seats re covered is there a way of converting my cars seats to power? Can I buy the parts from ford, and If its not to expensive could I also buy the Seat warmers module as well? Can you guys help me with this, Trying to see what I have to do to make this work! Thanks!

Converting to a power seat will be a PITA and very costly... at least thats how it is for the 05-09. You can get the leather seat covers from www.newtakeoff.com for cheap. They should be able to do the seat heaters for cheap (200-300 max).

Really? Sorry to get a little off topic, but I have leather/power seats and I would love to put heaters on them for this winter. If its around $200, I'm all over it Not doubting you at all, I just don't know how heated seats work(and whats required), so if the process is not that confusing(DIY)...I'm all over it.

The install would be cheaper for the OP since he has to take the seat covers off anyway to put leather on. I'm not sure what a shop would charge to do it, but there are DIY guides to taking the leather off on our cars and reinstalling it. I assume you could do both seats in a weekend, but be careful if you have airbags in the seats!

Basically to wire the seat heaters, you just have one ground wire and one power wire. The power wire has the switch in the middle of it that comes with the kit. You run some wire from the switch to your fuse box or battery.
