Strut Tower Brace
#2
I have a 2007 GT/CS conv. Purchased a Granitalli (spelling ???) strut brace on another forum and it fits over the cover using a few thin washers under two of the mounting holes. This strut brace isn't as fancy looking as some others, but it does the same job and is a lot cheaper ($$$).

The stock strut brace on the new 2010 Mustang GT looks good and mounts over the plenum cover. I'm not sure if the 2010 has more hood clearance than older models though.

The Agent47 Double Barrel Brace will fit as well.
Just found out it doesn;t fit over the new FRPP GT Supercharger but it clears the GT Plenum Cover.
This brace is very similar to the standard GT brace in that is uses chromoly tubes Tig welded to CR steel boxed structures. It is different because it uses two smaller 1” chromoly tubes bent for maximum clearance over the engine.
These boxes use all four bolts on the tower to mount the brace solidly( no heim joints to pivot).
One look at one of these braces and you will see the design, fit, welds, and finish are second to none. They come in a black powdercoat and install time is less than 15 minutes.

I like the BMR stuff, and Dennis there is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a nice square tube strut tower brace they make for a car with a plenum cover.

that is a great looking bar. I like the 4 mounting bolts. The 2 tubes give it a sweet look too. It looks strong.

Ordered the Steda for AM, gonna paint it titanum silver and cover the Steeda script area with a piece of polished aluminum. Thanks for all the input, do a post when I get it finished.
