I just ordered black Saleen style rims from CruizinConcepts.com. I'm going with 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear. I was wondering if 285/40/18 tires will fit on the rear, or will they rub? Also if they rub what can i do to fix this? ( i used the search function but couldn't find a straight answer to this question) Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You can fit a 295/55/18 tire in the rear so using the stock GT500 tire size which is what 285/40/18 is should work but I'm just guessing... lol. With some heavy modifications I'm running a 355mm tire... that's actually the area where you need to start being worried. I've had a few issues with getting my tires as wide as possible actually a lot...
