yeah that was one worry i had too, about it catching too much wind and getting ripped off. That's good to know! I was maybe even thinking about cutting the hood open under the scoop to allow more fresh air in, but still not sure.

I've seen someone who cut a hole under his B9 to make it functional. He fab'd a billet grill as well to help keep junk out. Havent heard any complaints yet. I'd rather put a mesh grill over the hole in the hood. Better yet, just put a shaker under there

That would be awesome! B9 WITH a shaker! Hmm I never thought about all the junk that would fly into the engine compartment with a hole there..
