I believe you missed my point, I was not bashing him for modding... just stating the appeal of the Bullitt was the understated looks with the performance upgrades over the stock GT...

The plain look was the purpose I believe...better performance than the GT and sleeper looks. obviously it would not handle a modified GT but stock to stock it would...with plain sleeper looks

To the OP. How much did it cost to shave the trunklid? I really want to do that, shave the faux cap and fill the 3rd brake light.

I had the mirrors painted.

And i didnt shave the trunklid. The CDC spoiler covers the third brakelight and i took the faux gas cap off and put a decklid cover over that part of the trunk.
