I've done the same setup and have had no issues with rub, according to GPS speed is only off by 1mph and no issues with traction control or ABS so far.

When you lower the car you will still have a slight rake(tall tire) but that gap will close up.I had 295/45's on my lowered GT for a while.

I went back to stock 18" Bullitts. Mostly because we have been traveling cross country I've opted for the easy fix if we need too.I'd hate to wait for 20's or bigger 295/45/18's if I got stuck in Chugwater,WYO(famous chili there) or some place like that.

I hear ya - Looks good - do you like those side scoops - are they bulky??

The side scoops are not bulky.They are stock Ford CS scoops.
