The CS came out in 07'. Base # for the front fascia kit is 20049. Part # is from the 2007 Mustang Accessories catalog.

Thanks, I think I'm going with the CS kit from latemodelrestoration.com it says it's OEM and is all included. It's actually cheaper than the regular GT bumper was estimated for by my insurance.

That's the way to go and the price is right.

Will they be a straight swap on a GT or do they need any extra fasteners or parts like the GT500 conversions?

It's a direct fit with the kit from latemodelrestoration. It comes with everything needed for the swap according to them. I'll be ordering it as soon as I get my insurance check.

Any ideas on where to get a front tag bracket for the CS front end? I hate Virginia

Me too. The CS bumper kit comes with one. And it's the one I'll use on my car, I hope to have my car back tomorrow. Or you can get one here that doesn't require you to drill into the front of the bumper. ==> http://forums.themustangsource.com/s...ighlight=plate
Or you can get one that allows you to retract the plate under the bumper ==> http://www.ninosport.com/Altec-Retra...00U-p/400u.htm

When you get the cs bumper painted and installed you might consider the lower grille insert from SHR. Its take about 10 minute install.

Thanks, yeah those look good.

I think I'm going to go ahead and put a 3d carbon boy racer wing on it while I'm at it.

Same thing happened to me - I just bought me a C Series which is on sale now - $350 plus shipping which is $135 - I bought a hood also so its wasn't bad at all

I love the C series, but don't you have to buy the 4 lower lights and the grill separate? I just figured with that kit I would get into a lot of money by the time I actually got all the stuff it needed to make it look like the picture.
