hey Guys,

Seeing a lot of GT 500 hoods for sale on Ebay these days. Must be from the GT500KR conversions (?).

I was wondering if anyone has a picture of a Mustang with the GT500 Hood, without converting the front nose/bumper.

I'm pretty sure you have to convert the bumper too.

You don't necessarily need to convert the front bumper but if you don't then you will see a gap between the hood and the grill cause the GT500 hood bevels up at the center. So it might be hard to find someone that kept that look.

ive seen a few pics a while back on here and it looked strange, but kinda cool with the opening in the front. Though camera angles play tricks on the eye...

I'm not sure what a GT500 hood goes for these days but I would probably say that if you want just the hood and not the bumper conversion then you would probably be better off going for a look alike there seem to be plenty of them around.

You also have to deal with the upper brackets because that hood hit on the top of your GT bumper (by the headlights).
Some members have done that mod a while back...
