The basic V6 fenders do not have the alignment holes that are used for the Tribar or GT emblems. Pony Package V6 cars and all GTs share the same fenders with the holes pre-punched.

I've got in my hand the estimate given to me by the insurance company of the driver that hit my car a couple weeks ago. The quote for an aftermarket left front fender (GT) is about $127 via aftermarket company Keystone. I took it to the local ford dealers collision center who said that would be $184 (GT w/o California Special). I then got a call from them yesterday that they misquoted and said that was for the V6 as well, and the cost of the GT was about $280. All this, simply because of the 3 holes for the emblem.

That is, if I'm understanding them correctly, In any case, I've convinced the other insurance company to cover the cost, so it makes no difference to me how much it costs.

I took a look at the suppliers list on the estimate.

Keystone's phone number is 800-551-5610
