Default Looking for a hood to go with the WMS Intake.

I'm sure you guys are familiar with the WMS Intake:

This is a picture of the SRT style hood I have on my Dakota. I've been looking for something similar to go on my Mustang, to benefit the WMS Intake. Anyone know of a hood for the s197 similar to this?

Thanks,

None that I know of bro, the only ones that I know "force" air towards the intake are the Trufiber Venom Hoods but they force the air towards the stock location.

yeah... I've been looking for the same... but they all seem to force the air to the stock intake location... so it would be nothing more than just good looks, no real functionality to it, unfortunately... it will keep your coolant reservoir cool I guess... lol

Get the Trufiber GTSIII and have a body shop close the ram air opening and drill vent holes in the ram air channel directly in front or above the intake. This will force air right into the air channel.

Thanks mellow, that's the hood that I plan on getting, eventually, baby on the way is putting a hold on that... and I planned on going with the WMS intake, so that really helps

I was actually thinking about a cervini's hood... they all have optional ram air add-on kits... so maybe without the kit, it is just a smooth surface... I'm gonna e-mail cervini's about that now... lol

Speaking of the cervini's hood, anyone have an under-hood picture?

I don't have any pictures of the underside of a Cervini's hood but I just got an email back from Jeremy Martinez at Cervini's and he said that all the hoods have a smooth underside if you don't get the functional ram air add-on kit... from what it sounds like, the kit just mounts to the hood and then channels the air to the stock intake location... look's like Cervini's would be the safe bet, plus you can get their hoods prepainted and their quality is top of the line
