Default Black Horsie

5 bucks worth of gloss black spray paint. Scuffed the surface first with 150 grit sand paper and then taped it all up. Looks way better IMO. I really did not like the chrome at all. Very simple and cheap to do for a new look.

Looks good. I did the same thing with flat black. I ended taking my grille off and taping around it.

Thought about taking it off but it look too involved with breaking the tabs and then trying to mount again with the hollow back..... So I just taped around it. Really no big deal, just used the blue painters tape and some newspaper. It didnt take long at all.

I went with gloss black since I have gloss black wheels.

I had a black one, looks pretty good for $12, but it's just molded plastic and 3M tape lol.

(O_o)?

I bought one of those $12 emblem covers. It's just fine, and you can go back to chrome later if you want.

I went black on my black gt, but now I'm thinking I like the looks when the horse pops, so I'm going to go back to chrome when I feel like cleaning it up.

I'm glad I got the cover. It was worth the $12 bucks to me just so I can go back later...and way cheaper than the $70+ one on AM.

Painting is good tho if you're sure.

the paint is decent for $12, but you can always go over it with more and add a layer of clear coat if you don't like it... the build? it's like those plastic halloween masks they sell for a dollar lol.. no joke.

It's a good deal for the price and looks good. I took mine off because I missed the chrome horsee..
