I have a Pioneer F7010BT. Have had it for 2 months now give or take a week and I have no complaints. The nav system is very efficient in route calculations, the interface is friendly, can dock my ipod to it. Only downside is I cant play DVD's but I can play videos in mp4 format off the ipod of the SD card slot or by plugging in a USB drive into it.

I have a Kenwood DNX7120 in my F150 and love it. I have had the unit for 3 years and have been very happy with it. Very easy to use interface. The number one reason I went with the Kenwood system was because the GPS that is intergrated into the unit is built by Garmin. Since I was/am a big fan of the Garmin interface I was very happy to see this system.
The unit plays DVDs without a problem and I have a 8GB thumb drive pluged into it that has all my music on it. With the DNX 7120 you have to buy seperatly the IPOD interface, bluetooth and satellite adapters. I beleive with some of the newer Kenwood (DNX7140 maybe) some of this stuff is included. If you shop around on the internet you can probably find the DNX7120 for under $700 now since there is a newer system out there. The DNX 7140 is around $1000.

Hm... I am having problems with my Pioneer Avic-F900BT (Avic-F90BT is basically the same system). Right now, there is a big hole in my car because I had to send it back to the company on the FIRST week of december to have it fixed (iPod not working, Nav not working, some controls don't work, etc.).
Well, I still haven't got them back.... yet.
If I were you, I wouldn't get anything that is pioneer related because they take forever to fix the product and to ship back. I heard Kenwood has the best navigation system to date... It's all personal preference though.
