Default S197 Wheel Spacers

Does anyone have pictures of 1/4" spacers on the rear? If I put some on will the change even be noticable? What is the best size spacer on the rear of an s197?

I would like the rear wheels to sit more flush with the rear fenders.

I have one inch on the rear of my car, the tires sit exactly even with the wheel well.

Do the wheel spacers widen the track and help with handling?

Do IT ! You won't be disapointed. I did the 25mm in the rear of my 05 GT, and it looks so much better, bringing the wheels to the corners of the fender. I have 18's and lowered 1" w the Roush spring. Personaly I would not go more than 25 mm, but know you will be outside the fender, 25 seems perfect. H and R's sizes go: 5mm,25,30,35,40. The performance side is noticeable. Will it make you faster?...probably not, but it turns in easier in corners and gives more confidence, so it was a good mod in my book.

The spacers also put additional stress on wheel bearings and axle components.

Not enough to be concerned about at all, putting 20's on is worse

Thanks UT4126a. To the other guys. Are the 35x12.50 -20's putting any excess stress on the wheels bearings of my Duramax????????????????. How about the 33x12.50-15"s on my sons Cherokee which was featured in the ad for Summits Truck Fest.
