Red face opinion on Ebay hood scoop

okay so i like the Roush style hood scoop, and I'm looking to get one. Also I am on a high school student budget haha so I want to try to find the cheapest one. I'm a little worried about the quality of this no name brand scoop. has anyone bought one of these or has a link to another cheep roush stly scoop.

* also im looking for an unpainted one, because I want to paint it hot rod flat black to match the stripe.

I'm a little leary with buying no name parts off of ebay. I don't have personal experience with it, but if you're putting it on your car, it should last for quite some time.. It's low priced for a reason. I would go with a reputable manufacturer and see if you can get it discounted somewhere. I would personally save up for the real deal..

I read most of the feedback from the Mustang buyers. There were a lot of positive reviews, but that may not mean anything to a lot of people. I'd pull the trigger

There could be. I purchased a scoop directly from Roush and noticed slight gaps towards the front. Got rid of it because I didn't liek it. Check out "the spoilerstore" on ebay, they offer painted/non-painted scoops (similar to the stock GT appearance scoop). I just purchased one painted. It's pretty much hit/miss. Good luck!

I would be cautious. Even my factory scoop on my '08 didn't fit quite right and always bugged me. I have had some buddies buy cheap body kits and they looked just like cheap body kits when installed.
