Default Not my day....

So, some things are going bad at work, but I can overcome. My car, different story... Last night, I pulled off the roush hood scoop to retape it because of flapping problems, when I see bubbling under one stripe. I was already gonna be heading to Ford this morning for I am having brake problems in the rear.

Turns out, the caliper was stuck, so the pads were worn down to the metal and the rotor is bad too... So, I'm buying Powerslot rotors, Hawks pads and then the calipers will be OEM. Looking at around $600 before labor... So..... I guess no Supercharger can be put on. I have it and was waiting for tax return to do it. So, that's covered.

Now, my hood. I'm looking at a KR style hood. Found a carbon fiber one, and I like it. Was wondering if anyone has seen a CF hood on a vista blue? I was thinking for the price, I could get it, or I would buy a FG hood and then have it painted then I gotta get stripes. This way, I eliminate the need of paint, and I don't think I will stripe if I have a CF hood. Any opinions on the hood? Thanks guys, got to blow off some steam! lol...

BTW, forgot to post, the bubbling isn't rust, it's the paint that didn't adhear to the hood. Either way, I don't think that's acceptabe, so that's why I'm looking into a hood. Not a fan of the stock hood anyways! lol.

Yea, it sucks... I know they look good on black, but I seen a few on Vista Blue, and it ain't too bad. IDK yet, I might just get the cheaper FG hood and go from there to paint and what not...

i think you have silver stripes correct? with the silver stripes i say now. imo only way it would work is to have the car a solid color.

Nah, I got white but will be taking them off... Thing is, the stripes are SSSSSSOOOOO bad, tell em ONF1R, that it would ruin my paint. So, I would have to repaint any body panels affected... Meaning, everything with a stripe on it, minue the hood.

Mike, that car looks nice! You have restored my want for a carbon fiber hood! I just love the look. One Eyed *****'s is nice, granted his is a black car. But still, carbon fiber is just bada** IMO. Idk, I have some time to think about it. So, looks like I'm not meeting up with Paul to get my ProCharger put on just yet... One day, I swear it. lol
