i just ditched my OEM bullitt grille for the center fogs...the Bullitt just wouldn't flow with your new setup IMO

I hope so. Cause gay sex just isn't an option.

OP, It is expensive but it's a good thing that you didn't compromise because no other hood would have worked since this one was it.

I give you major props to have something no one else has. Regardless of how much it costs. Going with the real deal over a replica is legit. Thats one of the reasons why i refuse to buy replica wheels over the real deal. Spend more for a better item.

BTW is that a prepreg hood?

$1700 for a Steve Saleen rare hood. I guess if you got the money that is cool. That is the only thing different about the hood is the butterflies. Don't get me wrong I love the hood.

Seriously? Does Steve Saleen actually hold any clout at all anymore? He got booted from Saleen and now makes some random a$$ parts for a few different cars. As for the hood, yes its unique but DON'T EVENT TELL ME ITS FUNCTIONAL. They are fake butterflies that operate with the TPS. How the hell does that air get to the throttle body??? from the minimal ducting under the hood?!? doubt it!! I'd love to see that test in a wind tunnel considering the pressure zone above the hood our our cars is already ridiculously turbulant at best. Its a heavy hood with a gimmicky scoop. I would have opted for a function heat extraction hood from someone else.

But to each his own so if you like it and can justify THAT COST to yourself, more power to you. It will definitely be unique! Thats for sure!
