Wait so you don't even have the butterflies? Because I was interested in the hood and contacted SMS and was emailed by Molly Saleen saying that the hood on its own (minus vents/butterflies) was being retailed. Pretty useless without the butterflies IMO..

no they said they will ship them to me once they get them in. right now i have no vents or butterflys. i should have them soon

I contacted them last week and they told me no butterflys they only come with the grill and mesh....what a bummer

i called them 20 seconds ago. they told me that people who placed their orders before 2010 will have them but they will no longer be selling the flaps. so i still get mine!!!

that pretty much renders the hood useless and expensive for anyone else that wants to buy it.

i think they are stopping production of the hood. idk. dont bring matters to me, take it up with them.

I was looking around and found this on ebay. The description stated it is a discontinued TECHO hood. The only thing is it doesnt come with grills or butterflys... wondering if SMS sells the hardware.
