That looks great, I really like how it turned out.

I see you are replacing your side skirts for the unpainted style. What are you going to do with the painted side skirts? I'd like to change mine from the flat ones to painted.

thanks, guys! and thanks for providing that info, pascal (spot-on!).

just got back from a 2-hr drive; temp gauge looked the same, but I'm not sure if the stock gauge is a real temp gauge. I never had the hood fluttering issue, as I've always had the pins, but above 75 it definitely felt nicer in terms of handling... it's a subtle improvement, but it is felt... difficult to describe, but as I was driving, I was thinking that it felt a bit more "poised".

thanks, jim. I'm actually not changing the rockers, just adding stripes above the rocker panels.

my install isn't nearly as clean, as I had to delete the hood scoop as well and I seriously need to work on my bondo skills...

my painting skills are even worse, so for now, a vinyl super stripe will have to do...

needed a little weight on the vent to get the 3m tape to adhere (lol)...

final product...

sorry about the cell phone pics.
Excellent work and extra credit points for making it happen and doing it yourself.

That looks amazing on your car. The entire car is awesome. I'm considering doing this to my car until I can afford the hood I want.

thanks fella's!

yeah, this is definitely a perfect stop-gag to an aftermarket hood, particularly since it's a fraction of the cost (about $65).
