New wheels (OE Wheels GT4)
#11
As far as attaching them, the outer diameter of the Styled Steel caps is 2.5", which coincidently matches the opening in wheels using the '99-'04 size caps.
I had a set of 2-part blank caps from OE Wheels which have a clip side designed to have a round cap emblem attached to it with double sided acrylic tape. I simply left the emblem part off, and chucked the side with the locking clips up in a lathe and machined a 1 3/4" hole in the center to accomodate the portion of the back of the classic cap intended to fit into the center hole of the classic wheels.
From there I used a bead of silicone on the back of the classic caps, inserted then through the holes in the clips, and used the screws and washers supplied with the classic caps for extra security. That all probably sounds more complicated than it was.

They're repros from KSR (KS Reproduction Corp). I'm not a fan of Scott Drake's products (too much mediocre quality in their 05+ line, and a horrendous customer service experience getting them to replace a clearly defective part)

Looks like you'll keep it a one-of-a-kind though.
