SHR louvers, should I be upset?

Damn! That looks bad.
Both of them...
SHR is a good company and if you E-mail those pictures to Marcello (the owner), he will get you another set.
This one obviously fell through the inspection's cracks.
Good luck.

talk to Marcello- I'm certain he will fix you up. best folks Ive ever dealt with- dont know what coulda happened with that set, they have a pretty darn flawless reputation from everything Ive seen or heard- and all their stuff is made in USA. IMO If there were more US manufacturers with his quality/manufacturing ethics, and more distributors that preferred US made components, this country wouldnt be in the shape it is today. reading recently on other forums how a lot of other vendors are buying chinese knockoffs of SHR and others American made products- its shameful. sadly if its profitable, somebody will do it- shame on them.

Most of the time he answers the phone himself, so you can't really miss the guy.

I emailed the photos and then talked to Marcello this morning. I'll be shipping them back so they can look at it to try to figure out what happened. One of the things he thinks might be part of the problem is that based on the recent weather in FL, and the fact that many shops don't have heat rooms for curing the paint, that perhaps it was packed in foam too early and that the foam imprinted onto the paint... but we won't know the issue until he has a chance to look at it in person.
Bottom line is that they are going to stand behind it and make it right, just like everyone said.
