ya ^^^ see i told you the heat gun is the way to go haha... and goo off does wonders i would suggest his idea of soaking the rags instead of pouring it on our cars cause it will totally eat our plastic but his idea it good^^^!!!
Mike, this is what you need...
Called the Eraser and simply mount it on a drill.
Start a one edge of the vinyl and keep it on.
Pascal was RIGHT!... I got one of these loaned to me by my local body shop and it takes off a foot of 6" stripe in 15 minutes. I'll be finished today... YES it takes off the vinyl and the glue and doesn't affect the paint at ALL!.. except on the edges of plastic parts like bumpers and spoilers... I got some chipping of paint there, but no big deal. I'll sand and repaint those areas before the new stripes cover 'em up.
I'll be finished "erasing" the last few feet of stripes today and then I'll prep the car for new vinyl stripes.
