Retro Chrome bumpers for 05-09 Mustang
Has anyone seen these retro bumpers at www.retrousa.net? They look good but seem a little high. They are $399 for each the front and back bumpers. Here is a link:

|
i would say negative, leave it alone lol

somewhere from the persons brain, to there hand lost track (cool idea, but turned out bad)
|
someone posted those awhile ago. they def are......ugly
|
Funny how the ugliest schit is always overpriced...
Oh, and if this product had any chance to look good, it wouldn't be on a GO car. OP, no offense though. The idea would have worked if it was somehow, a real chrome bumper with upper and lower valence like the old days. But a stick on plastic pad...errr, no. |

I dunno, I go back and forth on the whole chrome/retro issue. I collect classic cars, and although I like the retro feel to our Mustangs for that reason, and have added a few retro touches like the Hurst Shifter, a "Hurst Equipped" emblem on the back, rocker stripes, a metal '67-'69 dash emblem and will be adding the spread M U S T A N G metal letters to the deck, but I've avoided adding plastic chrome parts to the outside, like mirrors, door handles, etc. Just doesn't seem real. If I wanted a chrome bumpered '68 Stang, I'd get one. This is a 2006. I don't fault anyone's expression of their Mustang, to each his own, but to me that chrome stuff seems too fake.
Tomm 2006 GT convertible 5-speed. FRPP GTA axel-backs, Hurst Short-throw shifter, GT-300 Rocker stripes,Engine Plenum dress up, painted mirror covers, '67-'69 dash emblem, shorty antenna, and the all-important "Hurst-Equipped" badge on the back. |
Sorry but the whole "Bling" thing killed chrome for me.

I'm all for chrome but, these things are just not right lol
