Cam Cover Color - Need Help Choosing
I'm getting some cam shafts installed in a few weeks, and I figured that I would get some new cam covers to dress up the engine bay a little. The problem is, I can't decide what color I want. I can go with black or silver, and that would go well with my car, or I could get the blue ones which scream Ford. I don't know what to do, so help me out guys (and gals)!

I had the same dilema last month.
I dismissed Chrome because the rest of the engine bay is stock looking. Well, I have a Whipple (Black) and all the associated extra pipes etc, but I was keen to keep the look subtle.
Blue was a close runner up to the winner, in my case, of Satin Black.
The overall effect isn't "in your face" but a million percent better than the uglyass stock look.

I didn't do anything to prep them except to spray brake parts cleaner on the inside to get rid of the oil that remained after removal. I had not driven the car for a couple of days before removal so there was virtually no spillage. The powder coater blasted them with aluminun oxide powder before he performed his magic. Since my car is not driven during the winter it seemed an ideal time to do it.

Well guys. I ordered the blue ones. I felt like the black or silver ones would get lost in the engine bay. I'll be sure to post pics once I get my parts installed. Thanks for the input!
