I agree, the front covers do look crazy big, characterture-ish. The rears on the other hand are more conservatively sized and something I could be interested in to hide those uglyass calipers Mind you, $99 for those two pieces of alloy is a lot.

Caliper covers are extremely rice. It's kind of like putting a giant exhaust tip on your single muffler...

Call em what you want, I had painted my calipers as close to body color (Redfire) as i could get. The only problem with that was you had to repaint them at least twice a year to keep them looking half way decent.
Then a guy at work bought some covers used off of E-bay then wasn't sure how to get them on the car and sold them to me for $50 bucks, anyway, they look pretty good and i don't have to keep repainting them.

ya, i thought about MGP but, after really looking them over, they start to look cheaper. it just sucks how big brake kits are so expensive.

Keep an eye on ebay. GT500 take-offs can go for as little as $400. I paid $500 for mine in brand new condition.

Personally I don't think its worth the $180 you pay for them, my dad has them on his truck and its a cheap piece of aluminum and looks phony IMO.

I don't know about RPI, but what i did on my caliper covers was i went to grabberpony.com and bought some decals made for brake calipers and put them on my covers, and yes they are GT/CS and look great on a plain red caliper cover.
