I am interested in buying some red brake caliper covers, something that looks real nice, maybe with MUSTANG on it. I don't think I want paint, I like the looks of a full cover better. Where would I find these? Anyone have some pics?

I think American Muscle carries some caliper covers. I know you mentioned you didn't want to paint, but if you do entertain the idea, you can always pick up some decals from Southern Mustang Parts that go on the calipers and say "MUSTANG". I'm painting mine red this spring and putting the black pony decals on them.

American muscle has them with logos on them. they fit great, had a set on my 05. You can order custom ones from the MGP website with anything you want engraved on them. I don;t like the way the calipers look, even painted so the covers a great option if you feel the same way.

If you go to the AM link posted in the above reply and go to the image of black covers with "Mustang" on the fronts and "GT" on the back and click on Customer photos they are of my wheels and I am very satisfied with them.

ive seen them on cars at car shows........they are cartoonish.....painting would look way better than having those covers....

the MGP covers don't look cartoonish at all IMHO, not sure what brand you saw. There is nothing wrong with the covers, the don't overhang the rear calipers at all and barely overhang the front. I find that the stock calipers on the GT are ugly even painted. OP paint or covers is your choice, i vote covers they look great on the car and are easy to install. Plus you can't mess them up, painting is another story altogether.

no, i just bought this car recently after selling my 05 gt (sold february).....it had painted calipers....



im just saying that ive seen the mgp covers in person and they are crap.....

you can do what you want really, im just sharing some info....

Not trying to be mean here, but does anyone else think these things are rice? Just the kind of thing a Honda driver would put on to give the appearance of a big break kit.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I love the MGP ones, but I really don't like the look of the painted factory calipers either. I think the factory calipers are UGLY, even when they have been painted. They just don't have a great look. I'm not sure what I will do.
