i have the Venow II hood (Recessed) you can see that the hood doesn't have the center nostril exposed..

the supersnake hood is different from the KR in that aspect

here's my old 2005 Mustang GT that I did the conversion on.....the hood's look killer in person. I plan on eventually putting one on my GT500.

CutterWolf, NMD55 and 05_Mustang, do you guys have any issues with the fiberglass spider-webbing around the hood pins? Did you use any fiberglass glue to seal the edges of the hole when you drilled it out? I need to get my Shelby pins installed and one shop told me they would fill the exposed fiberglass with glue to keep it from cracking. Is this overkill?

I wouldn't say it's over kill, maybe just taking extra precaution...

The only thing I did after drilling the holes in the hood was use touch up paint so the white fiberglass area wasn't visable. My hood was just fine, never showed any signs of spider-webbing or anything.

my neither!
however my hood, just started cracking right at the apex. Small spider cracks.
I wasnt totally surprised this would happen. Trufiber hood are notoriously crappy quality and I only paid $400 to get it prepped and painted.
