Okay, so the replacement GT/CS rear bumper came in unscathed... but the car is getting some "go mod" done, however Whipple put some old parts in their kit, so I'm waiting on those... in the meantime, I'm having second thoughts on staying with the stock pedestal wing or going with a roush wing. Anyone know how wide that "cutout section" is on the roush wing?

...edit...
Yep, think I'm going to go with the roush wing in place of the pedestal.

I didn't order directly from Cervini, but one of the advertising vendors that carries their line, and they are going to use extra packing material this time around.

UPS is being a bowel fluid drenched weasel. They have initially denied the claim. I will ask AM to try harder. This is obviously a structural integrity issue on the skeleton and I don't know who can do a nose job on an acute angle, and have the bond be as good as the original.

Why did you sign for it if it was damaged? When I got my cervinis hood, I opened the box to make sure it wasn't damaged before I signed the paper.

When my CS6 hood arrived the box was shredded on one end and the tips of the hood (closest to the windshield) were ground off. The box had clearly been dragged by everyone who had touched it from Vegas to Toledo. It was easy enough to fix though. Yours is way worse. Keep fighting UPS! I wish you the best of luck!

Why? because I was an impatient bonehead.
Your absolutely right, I should have refused delivery, which in the worst case I would have only been responsible for the return shipping.

I had the same hood arrive a few weeks ago and the box was beat to hell. Fortunately Cervinis packages the hoods very well so the hood did not receive any damage. I had the guy open the box before he took it off the truck so I could inspect it for any damage.

If the package is damaged, Inspect it before they leave and reject it if there is anything wrong with it. Cervinis will tell you to do the same thing.

I miss my car. It's been at the body shop for the last couple of weeks, so it should be just about done. I'll be sure to post up pics once I get it back.

Never sign for damaged goods from anywhere. Once you do you own it. Simply refuse the order and contact the place of purchase.
