295 45 18 in the rear? POST UP PICS!!!!
okay long story short, i have access to a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1 295 45 18 wheels with 85% tread left at an awesome deal of $140 for both!
I want to make sure this is what im looking for before pulling the trigger....
right now im running coopers that are 275 40 18 all around on an 18x10 rim....
honestly i dont really like how it looks....
i think the back tire is too small and almost looks like it sits lower than the front at times.....
is 295 45 the right route for me?

0NF1R--I have 295/45/18 Nittos on 18x10 rims on the rear of my car. I think that it gives the car a great stance--plus from the rear, that width looks just mean.
It will affect your gearing though. Keep in mind that your tires are probably around 28" in diameter and with this set up, you'll be a little taller than 29". It looks great and fills up the wheel well, but it does hurt acceleration-- I've found to be about .4 slower in the quarter with these tires vs. even my stock tires.
Maybe not a big deal with your Roush power--- but a big deal for my lowly V6!

Mine are only 285/40/18 but are bf goodrich kdw 2. I have read many times that not all brands width are the same. Some are smaller than others.
FYI..........you have quite the vehicle...........so cool and unique! Congrats.

I pulled a 4.10 T-Lok from a Ford Aerostar 4 years ago & put it in my Wife's V6 Mustang when it was only a few months old. What a way to wakeup a V6 and only cost me $50.
