You speak the truth!

Mine have a light spray tint on the lenses, making them dark red rather than bright, and the outlines painted gloss. Most can't put their finger on it at first glance, until it's next to factory.

Local airbrush artist does them with custom Kandy Black/Clear mix, and then another 3 coats of clear. He adjusts the tint to the customers liking, mine are 75%

* 75% - just a tad darker than stock...almost could be factory
* 50% - def noticeable...but some red with shine through
* 25% - ask dark as im comfortable going..any darker you might as well just krylon black them

They are perfectly clear, not cloudy like some other spray jobs I've seen, light still transmits through very well. Plus being clearcoated they have an amazing shine and if you scratch them you can easily buff it out.

Sun vs shade

This is a comparison of both tinted, but left has the black outlines. The "swirls" are just from cheap point & shoot camera, with sun coming through window, there are zero marks on the lights themselves (trust me after seeing how the pics came out I spent a long time looking at them at different angles and lighting conditions)

I've got those AVS that Victoria wants...
They were too thick for me so I trimmed them a little and paint them as well.
Here are pics for those interested. A lot of work for what it is but it's all them details that make the right appearance.

And for those of you who like that look that Pascal got but don't have access to a bezel and a steady hand, this trim set sold by v6mustangstuff seems to have a very similar look: (look at the second one down) http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/05taillight_trim.htm

Get the AVS ones from Moss. I have had them for about 3 years and have NEVER been pulled over by a cop because of them. I think they make the lights look right. The stock ones are too big and blocky, in my opinion.
