Go for it. After you buy a new hood and get it painted way more money than a shaker plus your hood won't flutter at high speeds. I tied my shaker into my jlt, some say no benefit but i get a good dirty spot on my filter so it is bringing in cold air.

Yea it will look good, there are some shakers thatyou cut your factory hood to put the scoop on. As far as storage goes a piece of rope and 4 eye bolts and it will sit flat on the roof of any garage,shed or room ceiling. I went fiberglas and I love it but it is heavy compared to the stock hood. It will look good and you will like it you will definantly see this mod from the drivers seat.

but the other thing with the shaker is if i ever wanna super charge it, ill have to take it off and then ill just be left with a hole in the hood.. lol

well it pretty much says it in the name, it's a saleen supercharger with an attached shaker system. u can go to brenspeed and go to the saleen superchargers link on the home page and see it. i know this was asked before but there was never a good answer given, about how much of a gain would u expect to see from installing a shaker?

If shaker doesn't give any power why they dont sell any scoops which look similar to shaker?

Depends what kind of look you're going for. You can buy a new hood but then you gotta get it painted and before you know it you're in to at least $1000.00. My shaker cost me $549.00 with free shipping from eBay. I always liked the look of the hood scoop but also wanted something functional.

Or like a guy I know did, took the shaker apart and mounted the scoop to the hood so his whipple could be underneath, and seen when the hood was open. This was on an 03 Mach.
