Maybe new quarter louvers, ideas?
Well, my stang is an 05. with that being said my quarter louvers that have been on the car since i got in 06. The paint is to the point where its chipping and becoming an eye sore on my car. So Im undecided on my options, repaint or replace?
So i was kinda feeling roush knockoffs, but im open to suggestions.
i dont like quarter scoops has to be a louver.
thanks fellas! lets see what most of you guys think.

hmm. i would say cervini c series scoops, but you said you did not like scoops. I have them and really like them, dont see them as often as roush or flush mount ones. and with the flush mount ones, do you have to remove the window or something? i never got that too. maybe try a scoop for a change to see if you like them? just my thoughts.

Legendlime05, if you shop around, the install price of SHR Louvers vary. You can do it yourself if you buy the tools and adhesives. I'm sure there are some members on here who may have the tools to let you borrow.
09CS, yes the ¼ window has to be removed. The installation for the SHR louver would be like installing glass. One thing about it, you don't have to worry about it flying off or someone prying it off.
Oh and it's rare that I see SHR louvers around my area.

really? around me those and the Roush ones are the only ones I see. I've only seen the cervini c series one on one other car. and it just so happened to be a GT500KR lol.

SHR > the rest. It looks OEM and I get so many compliments too. I haven't seen anyone else around here with them yet either. But that will vary city to city I am sure.
If you shop around and are patient you can find good deals on them. I got mine in the classifieds. And who cares if you pay someone to put them in? I had "The Glass Doctor" install them for like $75. After you buy the kit, adhesive, etc, it just seemed more logical to have a pro do it for literally a few bucks more and prob in half the time as well. The guy actually let me help him do it too, which was cool.

i just dont want to have another 150 dollars spent to put these on when i can pretty much do the rest of the selection myself. i like shr ones, but im not sold on them. might take the ideas to the chop section and get xeno or someone to try them out for me.
