Are you planning on storing at your house. If so I would most def keep the box that i came in and all the wrappings etc. If it survided the mail and got to you then that's how you should go..

Do you guys think vinyl would survive the storage?

I have a windveil blue hood I'd sell for cheap (pickup in MD). A cat put a couple small scratches in it though.

The problem with the OEM hood is the TSB Aluminum Corrosion that will eventually surface. I believe all Mustangs 2005-2009 are affected.
Do you have a link to the TSB?

That's basically forcing me to go with a new, aftermarket hood

Perhaps an OEM style CF hood, I'm also thinking about that KR-style hood cervini sells, however it's pretty expensive too.

if you want a "flashy" hood, why go with another OEM style? I say if you want "flashy" go with an aftermarket hood from Trufiber or Cervini!
