I can see an advantage to either,

Pony Package- Just change your grill, run wires to a toggle
Advantage-Cheaper, More "retro"

GT's-New Grill, Bumper, run wires to a toggle
Advantage- Aggressive looking with the GT bumper

I think it would depend on what you're attempting to accomplish. If it's for looks only, then the Pony lights with whatever temperature bulbs you like are better IMO. But if you're looking for functionality, then the GT lamps have a better pattern for poor visibility in nightime foul weather with the added contrast provided by by a 2500k or 3000k bulb. Your car; your choice.

I agree with Alec and 157dB, GT's have been over done. But the PP is going to leave you with a non-aggressive V6 front. The Eleanor FTW
