Default cdc not so blackout panel

Well, I removed the fake gas cap and installed a painted to match CDC Deck trim Panel. I didn't really have any black on my car so I kept it clean like the black mustangs with the same panel. I was trying to tie in the front of the car, with the billet grill, to the rear. Now I'm not sure if I should keep it clean, or get a 281 badge with a chevron for the right side of the trunk.
Thoughts? I posted my other custom badges to give an idea of the retro look I'm going for. I don't know why my pics are so small after you click on them so I hope you can see them good enough. My sig Pic is out of date.

How do I make them larger? ON photobucket I put it to medium but when I put it to large it says it's too large.

^ Not sure how photobucket works, I use Picasa Web Albums.
Hopefully someone else can help out.

How did you prep the blackout panel? Did you sand it smooth?

Are the original size you took of the pics to large? Just post them if they aren't.

Actually RPI Designs did it for me and the texture is on it. I like it because it's monochromatic but the texture sets it off a bit.

I don't think it would have looked too great if you left it the black plastic...nj.

I thought the idea of a blackout panel was to add some contrast. Even if you had painted it a slightly darker shade than the car, I think it would have looked killer. It still adds a bit of texture as-is but I think darker would have been a major improvement.
