That is so going to be my shift **** after I get my TCI. I have the retro look in the cabin, definitely. V8 emblem on the dash and fuzzy dice.

Yep...a little milling, filing and polishing. I may mod it more at a later date...maybe some fillets and more polishing. I may actually get it chromed this Winter.

I'm running Nitto NT 555 Extreme 285/40ZR18 tires on 10" wide wheels all the way around.

There is a place I found that makes shifter ***** from any pool ball from the cue to the 15. You can google them and several other custom shifter handle shops. There's a lot of stuff out there. No excuse to have a boring shifter.

Feel like doing another one?

Anyway, so do shift ***** that fit the Hurst also fit the TCI? Or is it some really obscure size specifically for the TCI?

EDIT: Nevermind, saw it was 3/8-16. Easy to find size.

You got it...don't look for Mustang ***** because they are metric. You can find some Camaro and Corvette fittments that are 3/8-16 but most custom ***** and ***** have adapters to fit about anything.

The way I did the t-handle was pretty labor intensive. A good bit of file work and hand polishing with 800/1000 and 1500 grit sandpaper followed by a dremel polishig wheel. I'm going to check with a buddy who runs a machine shop about finishing it up a bit and I'll see if he's game. He was covered up when I did mine originally but he may have some time right now.

It's fine, I really don't mind the lockout lever (yet). It looks, acceptable from pictures. But if it's terribly hideous when I get it installed I'll figure it out. Personally I think it would look better if there wasn't a lever to begin with and maybe TCI sold ***** with buttons or something...but it's probably easier just to use the lever. I know it looks better but how is the manual shifting? The stop-shifting action looks like fun, but I think I'd mostly just get it for its appearance appeal.
