Default 05-09 GT500 Cervini Type IV Ram Air Hood (KR Style)

Has anyone seen that Cervini's was now offering this style hood?

Price: $689.00

Description:
Finished underside liner adds extra strength and can be painted for a show quality appearance. Bolts on utilizing OEM hood hinges and latch. New hardware is included. Windshield washer squirters are relocated and hidden under the hood. Pre-cut front air ducts. Hood Locks, Rear Billet Heat Extractor Vents, Drip Pans and Bezels included. Highest point of hood rise: 2". Width of scoop openings: 17.5". Height of scoop opening: 1-1/4". Adds additional underhood clearance to accomidate 3.4 and the 4.0 Whipple Supercharger Systems.

Hmm I'm not sure why, but I like the Trufiber one better. But don't get me wrong I love Cervini too!

I would be curious to see the weight difference between the two hoods. Mainly because I like having the hood struts. It is my understanding that with the Trufiber hoods you have to use the hood prop to hold up the hood. Please correct me if I am wrong.

looks sick, here the gt500 different then trufiber, looks like trufiber's doing a good job

haha yeah ive seen it a sent a link to Jerry about it a couple of weeks ago and told him thats what he should get, I think u should too, they are so much better quality hoods!

You did? I talked to him yesterday several times about this hood, after calling and talking to Cervini's, and he never mentioned it. He & I are both definitely interested, but I'm waiting on some more information to be available.

yep, and I know he saw it cause he replied to me about it and what he thought about it vs the true fiber hood

I just wish that they would look more like the Venom II hoods from Trufiber. The middle part of that hood towards the front just looks bad IMO. If they could make it look more like the Super Snake hood I would be in.

For GT's this is my favorite, will get it one day!!
