Thanks a million onederful100 for the links and thanks to all that replied. I'm going to ASSume I need to pull the front inner fender liners to retrieve some captive hardware that adheres the emblems to the fender? Correct?

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking the pins are just alignment holes. My car is in the shop right now getting the exterior blacked out and they were pulling the GT emblems off to paint them. I'll see if I can find an answer to your question, unless someone chimes in sooner.

They are just alignment pins.

I'm tired of the GT emblems to, so I'm putting the pony ones on mine.

FWIW, I think either the V8 emblems, or the old school GT-A emblems would look great on your car!

No need to remove the fenders. There is no captive hardware for the badges they are just 2 small aligning pins.

I used warm water and fishing line, it's kind of a pain but be patient and you'll get it. Post up some pics of your new badges when your done.

You guys are fantastic and I really appreciate the feedback.

My plans are to put the Cobra front-end on my car in the future, question is, would I be a poser if I put THESE emblems on now?

You gotta admit, they are bad-***. LOL!!

I heard rubbing alcohol works well to get the excess residue off. Can anyone confirm?

Many people on here will agree that, unless you have a GT500, the Cobra emblems don't belong on your car, period.
