i know this mod has been done a few times with great results. but i was wondering, to those that have done it. can the vent for a 2010 gt500 be heated alittle to form it to the 05-09 mustang hood? ive read that rivetting it would pull it down tight, so is it flexible enough to heat and cool so that rivets are not needed.

I just used 3M double side tape and it works. There is 1-2mm gap between hood and vent. It really good.

i was looking at a parts list and diagram at work today and it showed a hood vent seal. has anyone used this? would it take care of the gap?
