Do this: http://www.cherod.com/mustang/HowTo/footwellLights.htm

Use the flexible LED strips from Advance Auto, think they're about $25 bucks. ^^^ This procedure will only turn the lights on when the doors open.

^^^^ best way.
I did it first mod and have not looked back since.
Lights up the footwells great.
Wal-Marts for the LED lights in the marine section.
$10 each.
Zip tie them into place well under the dash but
pointing downward.

Doesnt "beat to the music" but it does have plenty of different patterns/colors. Works great and cant beat the price.

Can you adjust the brightness on that kit? Id want a kit that lets you adjust the brightness so it would look like the oem ambient lighting.

Got mine from Moss...I used "T" taps, per instructions and connected them so they light up when I open the doors or use interior lighting. Yes, you can do it with a friend. BTW, they are not as bright as the picture on the website leads you to believe.

No you cant adjust the brightness, but its not blinding by any means. Its not near as bright as the website video shows. I hardly even notice it since I've had it for so long now. I get complements on it all the time. I will try and get some pictures of it at night.

Its not that dificult to do. One wire runs to a fuse for power. Another wire to the chassis for a ground. Everything else is just plug ins for the kit. The worst thing you could do is blow a fuse. If you a want to waste money to pay someone else to hook up 2 wires go ahead, but its easily done yourself.
