Ok keep me posted because I would like to get this done and re-tint my windows - they look horrible now.

Alright, got my new weather stripping in. It is SOOOOOOOOO much better.

Whole operation took about 15 minutes, but could easily be done in 5 now that I know what to do.

Here's a pic showing new and old. Old has ZERO felt on it, new feels awesome. Way softer/less abrasive than any velcro.

Hard to tell in the pic due to the reflection, but the top is the old one. It sucks.

I didn't know about this issue till after I tinted mine. Less than a year and mine is scratched already. Gonna order the new stripping and maybe salvage my tint.

I see the difference. How well does it work with the tint? Do you think it will scratch the tint in the future?

Tint comes later. I wanted to get the new strip in before I got the tint. I've read several other post online though about the new mustang and tint and no one has had a problem/gotten scratches. Only the pre 08 stripping is a problem.

The less abrasive weather stripping came on my car. I have had the car 2 years and 3 months. The windows were tinted 4 days after I got the car and still do not have any scratches or abrasion.

Cleaning your window tint properly is also important to its longevity.

My Moleskins are starting to peel, so this info was very timely. Anyone know the p/n's for the rear window felts on a ragtop??

I can't remember where I got my moleskin from. Might even be tintprotector. Wherever I got it from - it's trash. I HATE it. Every time I roll my window down I get a nice mark on it from the crap adhesives in that garbage. I am constantly cleaning my windows and over the last year have gotten pretty sick of it.
