Default Muffler End Plates

I ordered a pair of polished stainless muffler end plates to dress up the mufflers. When they arrived I could tell that the plates were too small, I tried them on and it's as though they were made for a smaller muffler. Moss advertised them to fit 05-09 (I have an 09 GT-CS) Anybody have any ideas as to what to use to make my own? Thanks.

The stock muffs are SS if I recall. I'm not sure what you're trying to dress up. Can you post a link for the plates?

Are you sure you have stock mufflers? Or did the CS that year have a different muffler?

Cheeeesy looking, IMHO.
A local laser cutter outfit can whip you up some SS plates.
Get the good SS, not the cheap SS.

Polish the end plates of the OEM SS muffs for the same effect only cheaper...

Small how? the muffler canister is larger or they don't fit through the tailpipes?

I just got rid of my mufflers altogether

Just paint the ends black.....it looks even better.... more of a clean look as opposed to a cluttered look

I agree. You want to see the exhaust tips not the muffler body. Black, satin or flat will make the muffler fade away and make the chrome tips pop.

I, too, just wanted some polished tips without the expensive of an axle back system so I just got some polished 3 1/2" stainless slip-on tips from Summit and made a spacer sleeve to mount them on the factory tips.
