Mine were coming off in tiny pieces too. I finally learned that if I kept a hair dryer on them as I was peeling, they stayed soft and mostly came off in one piece. When they are cool, they seem to be more brittle.

Thanks for the tips guys

These are actually not as study as some of the decals I have seen on some cars, and not as "clued on" as factory decals which seem like they were stuck on with super glue..

haven't gotten to them just yet. still have to pick up some adhesive remover and wax for after.. gonna be a llllooong day. Oui...

makes me wonder, at which point did I actually think it was a good idea in the first place to get these on?! rofl

Hey, you never know until you try it. If you didn't put them on, you'd probably still be thinking about what they would look like today. These cars are fun to mod and you're not hurting anybody by putting tribal flames on YOUR car. And there's no reason you have to stick to one look.

woo hoo!

The decals came off like peeling off a giant sticker! lulz

I used a heat gun that stayed surprisingly cool even though I used it for nearly 8 hours straight!

The hood had some minor "ghost flames" or burn in, but it'll come off once I use a orbital buffer and wax later on this week.

Car looks clean and mean now! The side decals were ENORMOUS but came off without any hassle. It ended up leaving a white outline and some glue left over, but Goo Gone took care of that.

I'll post up pics later on.. but WOW! Talk about STEALTH mode!

I still have to strip the paint off the calipers, and paint the radiator black as well as the Bullitt surrounding trim. I may also get a faux gas cap for the rear badge. A black one.

Great little project, and even my girl came over to help out!
