I had a couple of minor issues when I first had mine installed....turns out the ground wire was not making good contact. You might want to check that out.

yeah I was having a bitch of a time with the grounds when i first installed them. only the driver side HID would turn on at first. used the same ground spot for both lights. the bolt holding the headlight housing. guess the passenger side was just a little dirty. cleaned it up and that light came on with no problem

Microwaves actually run on DC. As do sound systems, hair dryers and on and on.
The first thing inline with the AC powercord in a microwave is a bridge rectifier
that turns the AC into DC.
AC travels distances better for the power distrubution of modern days.
Thats why the power coming into your house is AC and not DC.
I cant believe that the microwave was scared. I think it was playing you...

You could try plugging in the currently unused connector and see if that solves the problem.
The fog bulbs are in parallel, not series like the christmas tree
light strings of the past..
The SJB does the turn signal bulb out whackyness nowdays.
In days of the past, the bulbs were parallel, and it was the
Amp Load on the resistive mechanical bi-metallic flashers of
the past that caused the whacky/funny flash rate bulb out
condition. Add trailer light to the circuit and a faster flash insued.
Ford put LOGIC into the SJB to mimic the old flasher bulb out
idiosyncrasies so as not to confuse the already confused consumer.

Fogs dont work with the HIGH BEAMS on.
Also the SJB is not going to like the drivers side
headlight connector being hooked to nothing.
The SJB will start to flash the pass side to tell
you the drivers side is out...
You should really use 2 relays and put the drivers
side HID on the drivers side OEM harness and the
same for the pass side. The two sides should never
share the same headlight connector.
The fog ground in on the radiator support next to the
base of the OEM hood prop rod.
I would have to ask if the fog light indicator on the
headlight switch is working properly or out as well?
More info to diagnose 1000s of miles away, sight unseen...
Neither is the connector or wires as the water
infiltrates them from being open to the elements.
